For short-on-time bonsai enthusiasts, this variety, with splendid branching and dense bud internodes, saves the day. It has a naturally bonsaied appearance similar to 'Mikawa yatsubusa' with even more compact layered branching and a slower growth habit. Chartreuse serrated spring leaves darken to summer green then turn shades of gold and orange for fall. Excellent selection for a fairy garden! A Billy Schwartz introduction.
