Rose to brick-red drumstick flowers on slim stems are held above uncharacteristically broad, evergreen, basal leaves. They're appropriate for the rock or crevice garden, or a pot since it has an extremely long bloom time and is a larger and more robust Armeria. This genus particularly favors the coast but does well inland, too. Blooms May through September; 16" tall; slowly naturalizing; low maintenance.
