Long spikes of light blue with light yellow petal base begin blooming in late May and last for several weeks. Seed pods and soft foliage in a rounded habit make a handsome plant for the rest of the season. This is one tough plant that doesn't mind poor soil, but don't try to move it, it's tap root won't like it. This is from a collection bred at the Chicago Botanic Garden by Dr. Jim Ault. 3' x 3'
