Not for the small garden or the faint of heart, this deciduous barberry has purple and red rounded foliage that shows off its orange-yellow spring flowers. The form is mounding but the branches are distinct and somewhat arching — a more graceful form than many Berberis. Thorns of course. 7' x 7'
