More info about our plant sizes.

Succulent, thin, and waxy light green leaves are rounded with toothed edges. Stout stems support bright white flowers with a tuft of yellow at the centers, and the backside of the flower petals are tinged a lovely blue-purple. Blooming late spring through summer this native lives in mountain marshes and shallow ponds, from lowlands to alpine elevations, between 4500-10,000 ft. Caltha loves to take advantage of receding snow fields; at least you can replicate the shallow ponds or marshes with some wet humusy soil.
