Upright racemes of deep, blue-violet starry flowers bloom in late spring to early summer.

Camas require moisture in springtime, but drought conditions are acceptable after flowering when the bulb is going dormant. This wetland native blooms in the gap between Daffodils and Tulips and would love to live pond- or stream-side, or in a moist depression that dries as summer progresses.

Mature size: 2-3 ft T x 1-2 ft W; naturalizes in good conditions.

Minimum temperature: -40° F
