A tall clumper most vigorous in partial sun conditions, Fargesia robusta is a good screen option. Rusty red new shoots become light green culms with dark green foliage. White culm sheaths stand out beautifully against the dark green leafy foil making a checked appearance. "Limb up" your bamboo to show off these exciting canes to a better advantage.
