A shorter, and more finely-textured spreader than many hardy geraniums, 'Orkney Cherry' will obligingly fill the foreground of a garden bed with rose-pink blooms with a lighter throat and bronze-purple sharply-cut foliage. It blooms summer to frost, is best protected from hot afternoon sun, and will make a heartfelt appeal to butterflies. Bred by Alan Bremner in the Orkney Islands north of Scotland. .5"–1' T x 2'+ W
