Dazzling yellow ray flowers bloom in March - July on woody, decumbent stems. Though the stems may lie down on the job, the prominent evergrey-green leaves are strongly ascending. Its spatulate leaves are white-margined, creating an even more explicit geometry, welcome amongst rocks, walls, and graveled mounds or banks. Reportedly it was much used in the last century by the famous garden designer, Gertrude Jekyll of UK fame. Purportedly it originally comes to us from dry open sites of Algeria and Tunisia. 18 inches tall by 3 feet wide.Minimum temperature: 10° F
