A rare British wildflower, native to shady woods and hedgerows. The slender, branched stems bear loose clusters of rose-violet, open bell-shaped flowers. Narrow pointed leaves form a rosette at the base. A biennial, but will seed itself around politely so it will persist in comfortable places. Blooms spring through fall and can reach 10-30 inches tall.
