'Evening Star' is a semi-evergreen, short, dense Thalictrum with colorful foliage. Leaflets are olive, tan, and copper to red-brown and are held horizontally to best display their rich color. And if that wasn't enough, the flowers are lavender spritzes that dance on invisible stems above the silver-starred leaves, spring to summer. An 8" tall perennial, it is a really sweet addition to the woodland garden and a fine ground cover.
