Acer palmatum ‘Marlo’ has deeply lobed, green leaves with bright pink margins in spring. The leaf margins fade to cream as summer progresses, before reverting back to pink in autumn. A compact, Japanese maple, it works well in small gardens and is particularly suited to growing in a container.
For best results, grow ‘Marlo’ in sun or partial shade, and protect it from the harshest winds, which may cause leaf scorch.
