Dancing Oaks Selection, nursery owners, Fred and Leonard, wrote this in their original notes "3x3 amazing blue color with very clean foliage". 

'Blue Bear' has been a favorite due to its pale peachy-pink new growth with the blue backdrop of older foliage.

It has been prone to some winter spotting but is so stunning in the summer that we give it a pass every year. We have our plant at the east end of an East/West berm so there might be less spotting in a spot with more airflow.

Mature size: 4 ft T x 6 ft W at 7 years old

Minimum temperature: 0º F

Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
