From South Africa, dreamy indigo-blue flowers with yellow stamens thickly arrange themselves along a 3–5-foot spike; beneath is a substantial clump of upright, strappy, evergreen leaves. Somewhat tender here, it is content in a large pot for some time. South Africa. (Snail proof)
