From New Zealand, Renga Lily has been a significant plant in Maori culture, used both medicinally, spiritually, and now, ornamentally. Lush mounds of soft green strappy leaves are adorned in spring with tall, elegant wands of blushed white, starry flowers. Unlikely as it might seem, this is an effective plant in dry shade and can be massed to form an impressive ground cover around trees. From New Zealand; tolerant of salt-spray.
The large succulent leaves and the arching growth pattern of this plant require that it be cut back for shipping. The robust root system will regenerate new growth.
