Majestic white panicles in midsummer bloom are held upright amid textured "oak" leaves that blush russet and purple in fall. Aging blooms turn a complex mix of whites, greens, pinks, purples, and browns—very rich color and texture. Blooms on old wood. Deciduous, its interesting exfoliating bark becomes apparent in winter. Sun-tolerant, as are most oak Leaf Hydrangeas, it requires less water than other types. 5' T & W
