Seed collected in Wineglass Bay from a 2018 trip to Tasmania. The parent plant was notably columnar with dimensions of 10 ft T x 2.5 ft W. Small evergreen leaves as expected of the genus. Flowers are fragrant, white, and about the size of a quarter. Fast growers, about 12 per year.
We planted one out in the display garden and it's now survived two winters in our climate. The first winter was mild but this past winter we had sustained low temperatures of about 15°F.
