If any tree is to be grown for its fabulous textural bark, THIS IS IT! A slow-growing but-oh-so-worth-it round-headed tree with cute evergreen leaves. Eventually, it reaches up to 50' with a trunk that could not have more character. The bark is used for making corks but you won't want to. Ferdinand's cork tree has nothing on this!
