Try this show-stopping Salvia, thought to be a cross between S. leucantha and possibly S. chiapensis, which was found in the UC- Santa Cruz Arboretum, and named for Phyllis Norris.  Foot-long flower stalks are graced with charming, fuzzy lavender-tinted white flowers which create a lovely contrast to their dark-purple bracts. Provide a bold focal point with this robust Salvia which can grow up to 7 feet tall with the proper conditions!  We recommend cutting it back to 3 to 4 feet after flowering to control growth.  A magnet for pollinating insects and hummingbirds.
