A very fast-growing yellow-gold form of the English Elm, sometimes growing 5 ft. in a season, eventually becomes 35 feet tall and round-headed. If you want shade but not darkness, this is your tree. It makes a glowing beacon from afar and is a tremendous contrast tree.
