Clear white 1.5-2" flowers with yellow stamens float above deeply lobed medium green leaves. 18" stems support single flowers that are fragrant, followed by white, fluffy seed heads. If you are lucky, a repeat bloom might happen in the cool of autumn. Vigorously spreading in loose humus, it colonizes more slowly in clay.
