Small, rounded, glossy leaves in compact arrangement line the stems of this mounding, low dome-shaped form. Red new growth becomes green, with white urn-shaped flowers with a pink tinge in springtime to attract hummingbirds. Native to the forests of the Northern California coast.   Appreciates some summer water and afternoon shade in hot summer areas. 

Mature size: 30 inchs tall x 3-4 ft wide in 7 years.  

Minimum temperature: 5° F
