Narrow blue-green leaves cover ground-hugging, horizontal branches that twist and turn upward at the ends. Branches begin pinkish and mature to purple-brown. This one is a faster grower than many manzanitas and will take some shade and also tolerate some irrigation (otherwise drought-tolerant). It aims to fit in.
