Back by popular demand! Very fragrant deep violet-pink flowers in rounded clusters, like so many small bouquets, bloom mainly in spring on a petite, evergreen shrub. It continues to flower freely throughout the season. Narrow, dark green foliage makes the blooms all the more vivid. While some Daphne might put up with denser soil, this one really does need well-draining soil and is more drought-tolerant than most Daphne. Daphne dislikes disturbance so plant it carefully and site it where it can remain.
Some Daphne can be a challenge to grow but well worth the effort. We send out healthy plants but can't be responsible for other cultural requirements that are out of our control. Plant the rock Daphne in quick-draining soil and do not over-water them. Avoid watering during the heat of the day.
