Native plant with miniature rose-pink to lavender hollyhock-like blooms in late spring to early summer. The deeply incised leaves blend well with meadow grasses. In Oregon, this plant is more commonly found in meadows in Oregon's East side, meadows at the forest edge in the Steens, Wallowas, West Gorge, and Coast Range. Also, found in SE Washington and Northern to Central California. This plant is a larvae host for several butterfly species.
