Sometimes used in rooftop gardens because of its evergreen leaves and drought-tolerance, this spreading perennial has fairly large, rosy-pink hollyhock flowers atop dark, rounded, and scalloped leaves. Some summer water will keep it from going dormant. Late spring to summer bloom.
