Wall Germander is an extremely useful and attractive evergreen, woody-based shrublet. Pink to purple flowers bloom in late spring through mid-summer along the stems between its shiny, tiny, oak-shaped leaves. (Chamaedrys means "ground oak" in reference to the leaf shape and ground cover nature.)
Use this good-looker for borders, to cover the unsightly legs of other plants like roses (such a Victorian), as the evergreen base in an arrangement for a large container, or as the small hedge in an old world knot garden.
