This New Zealander is hardy, ornamental, evergreen, petite, and colorful— copper-olive in summer and orange in winter, perfect for color in your winter garden. Less sun, though, and it will become more green, which is fine if you want that. The shape is still a good-looking, slightly weeping small fountain, appropriate for a pot or the garden bed. Do not cut back until late winter, and then by just two thirds.
