Small, evergreen, shiny, rounded leaves in a neat little mound, with purple-black berries. Blooms in late spring or early summer. In its native Sichuan Province, China it grows at the tops of Fir trees, but in your garden, it will be happy with well-draining soil...or try it in your stumpery!
