A lovely North European wildflower and early spring bloomer. Fuzzy flower heads emerge before the foliage is fully opened. Continual blooms with silky purple petals with thick golden stamens soak up the sun for well over a month before turning into phenomenal fuzzball seed heads. Long-living plant with variation in bloom color. Plant amongst your daffodils! Full sun, drought tolerant, and bees love it.
