A mid to late bloomer this classical iris has a very small but bright yellow signal on the falls that fans into a light colored backdrop with deep blue/violet venation. The high contrast veins continue as the lower sepals themselves also become predominantly blue, matching the color of the upright standard petals, floating like plumes, above.
