Mid-size upright Camellia with anemone-like red/deep pink blooms in March to April. Found as a seedling of Camellia japonica 'Bokuhan' by Eimei Nagata. 

Prefers a lightly shaded site with some summer water. Camellias can take full shade or more sun, but too much exposure can lead to winter damage or summer stress, and too much shade will lead to fewer blooms. 

Mature size: 8-12 ft T x W

Minimum temperature: 10° F
