One of the most shamelessly coveted (and I am definitely not one to judge) Camellias, or even raise the bar to shrubs, growing in the display garden. A handsome tidy habit that has lots to offer- amazing shiny, dark maroon new leaves and deep black cherry red blossoms. Our 10-year-old plant is 3 ft wide by 5 ft tall. Rare. To see one in bloom is to be totally smitten! Quick! Avert your eyes.
