‘Koto Buki’ can really put on a color show throughout the year adding interest through the seasons. Heavy white/green variegation on willowy palmate leaves is just the background to hot pink new growth and stems. Secondary growth in late spring can be just as stunning, and fall colors produce oranges and reds, sometimes integrated with pink striping. Can tolerate sun, but prefers afternoon shade in hot sunny locations

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
