As if by magic in late summer, from bone dry soil, slender, 2' tall, leafless stems develop clusters of striped pink and white trumpets - such a trick. Sweetly fragrant! Resents root disturbance. These are grown from seeds in our garden and can take a few years to bloom. It is normal for the foliage to die back in late spring while the bulb goes dormant until the flower stems emerge in late summer.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
