Rope Grass is so called because of its tough evergreen blades that have been used for basketry and ropes. This robust and stately fountain of grass native to the Mediterranean has impressive flower heads. Plant in a well-draining, sheltered and sunny location where you can also enjoy the purple-infused tan inflorescences July – November. Forms a large tussock, reaching 6'– 9' tall or more.
