Airy, feathery, blonde seed heads are borne in July from olive-green narrow leaves. Handsome orange hues infiltrate the clump throughout summer and become dominant in late autumn and into winter. This clumping grass maintains a vase shape and is perfect for coloring up your grass garden - the more sun, the more color.  Best to cut back sparingly.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
