May through June white saucer flowers with soft indigo-blue exterior petals and violet-blue anthers top 18" stems. This could be called a clumper or a slow traveler. Most commonly from moist meadows, forest margins, and stream and lake-sides of the vast Himalayan region, A. rivularis prefers enough water (but not boggy) and rich soil.
