This substantial selection comes from Garrison Canyon on Pepperwood Preserve above Mark West Springs. Can be used to create a small tree-like presence in the garden with handsome smooth mahogany bark and attractive large, rounded foliage of silvered green. New stems are purple before darkening to mahogany. Pale pink flowers, arranged in large clusters, provide a cheerful sight to both humans and hummingbirds alike in late winter. Situate in full sun. Excellent drought tolerance once established.
