A Dancing Oaks Introduction. The parent plant was a huge 10 x 10 ft beauty seen on our November 2016 collection trip near Milo, OR. The name comes from the showy red ribbons lasting for weeks in May-June along the leaf margin as the new growth emerges. White blooms in February through March with a backdrop of its attractive blue-sage winter foliage.
We have planted two in our display gardens and both have thrived, one in the middle of our dry garden meadow and the other on a mound with more drainage.
