'Wayside' is an evergreen spreader with a fine texture of dark green small leaves. It's less dense than some, perfect for seeing its beautiful dark red branches. It's marvelous on a bank, but be sure 'Wayside' gets afternoon shade inland; at the coast full sun is perfect since it comes from Californian coastal regions.
