Pink flower clusters in late winter/early spring against green glossy leaves and red-brown bark - an especially attractive form of Stanford Manzanita. A dependable and disease-free selection. As with most manzanita, they resent disturbance once established so locate it where it can mature into a fine specimen.

Note on deep pink blooming manzanitas:

'Fred Oehler' and Arctostaphylos patula 'Siskiyou Pink' are two of our most requested manzanitas due to their shared characteristics of plentiful vibrant pink blooms and deep rich warm bark. The main differences (other being genetically separate species) are that 'Fred Oehler' has denser, smaller, sharper, green leaves and a more winding branch structure, while 'Siskiyou Pink' has broader, more oval, olive-toned foliage with a more vertical and open branching structure. 'Fred Oehler' is generally thought to be a fair amount smaller than 'Siskiyou Pink' but both our specimens are over 10 years old and are of a comparable size. A. patula blooms much earlier in the season, starting as early as November, while A. standfordiana is usually in full bloom in March.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.

Choose your Monday ship date

At checkout, choose from the available Monday ship dates. We ship with UPS from Monmouth, Oregon, and you will receive an email with tracking information when your shipment is prepared or enters the UPS system.

Arrival times vary by destination and weather, so we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time.
