More info about our plant sizes.
Evergreen, with glossy, small, tough leaves, this southern Andean plant makes a dense, weed-suppressing, somewhat mounding ground cover perfect for rocky, dry areas or even the coast — adaptable. It further earns its keep by producing a profusion of white or ivory flowers covering its surface in spring to midsummer. While it is essentially xeric, it would benefit from a little water in long, hot, dry spells. Well-behaved as a ground cover, 6 – 12" T, 60" W. Collected by Dan Hinkley in southern Chili. Rare.
