Easily grown perennial that isn't too fussy about soil. Flowers of lavender to amethyst-pink bloom mid- to late-spring, and are attractive to bees and butterflies! Appreciates some summer water and average soil drainage. Prefers morning sun with afternoon shade in hot summer climates and full sun in climates with cooler summers. Remove spent flower stems to prolong the bloom period. Divide clumps in fall every 3-5 years to control the spread and invigorate the plants.
