This rounded tree is truly a remarkable horticultural sight when adorned with the long (sometimes over 10"!) papery lime-green catkins. It is a rare plant in the trade having been introduced from China in the 1980's.
These trees have fast vertical growth. In order to continue shipping these plants, we trim the top. When new growth emerges, choose a new leader.
