Dark mauve flower buds open to pale pink, aster-like blooms from summer through fall. Deciduous; 3-4 feet tall by 2-3 feet wide. It as an open, potentially sprawly, form--stake early if you want it to stay tidily upright; or if you prefer a wilder look, let it be to weave through its neighbors.
