A charming west coast native that enjoys the stream sides of southern Oregon and northern California, sometimes growing near the carnivorous Darlingtonia californica. Small flowers with bright white pouches and lemon-yellow sepals on stems up to 3 feet tall in May-June. These plants were flask-grown from seeds collected near O'Brien, Oregon. They do tend to require some summer heat to do well.
