Mounds of dark evergreen leaves bear long-lasting and fragrant purple flowers in spring with sporadic re-bloom in summer. It is much admired in the garden for its broad cushion form. 12" tall and 24" wide, dense and low to the ground, it successfully shades out weeds. Plant along a pathway, in the rock garden, and definitely close by for the wonderful fragrance.
