This striking perennial has tennis ball-sized, blue-purple flowers that bloom mid to late summer above a mounding clump of grey-green, spiky foliage. Cut before bloom if you wish for dried arrangements, and/or let them bloom and watch the bees and butterflies arrive in droves! This is a selection from the former Russell Graham Nursery in Salem.
