Thick, marbled, basal "tongue" leaves spread out below the creamy white nodding flowers with recurved petals. Their pistil and stamens protrude elegantly from a light yellow-tinged interior. This native will create exhilarating drifts in spring with time and the right conditions: moist, humus-rich soil and sun or part shade.12 inches tall, slowly naturalizing.

It's imperative that Erythronium are kept evenly moist and not allowed to desiccate. We will not be responsible for replacements due to neglect.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
